PROJECT 1 (B) -MINIATURE SHELTER

Measuring out the main site according to the requirements (2.5m x 2.5m)

Our chosen main site - a combination of Hydrosphere and Geosphere

Measuring out the Shelter site so we could construct the miniature shelter

For this group project, my group was assigned a character from the movie Zootopia, Officer Rhinowitz. We were to study about the character and the animal itself, find a suitable main site which fits the natural setting that we were looking for according to our character's needs and establish a miniature shelter on the shelter site for the animal character. This was all done throughout our site visit to Janda Baik where we stayed at the Al-Sakinah Resort for two nights.

My group consisted of :

- Syahadah

- Joey

- Louis

- Anissa

- Hazim

- Yan Zhe

- Vander

Building our shelter using lego blocks provided by our tutors

The completed shelter (Plan, Elevation & Perspective view)

Throughout the next 3 weeks, we consistently worked on the project. Here are some of our progress works that we showed the tutors during every tutorial ;-

Here you will be able to see the final boards. As you can see, we presented our information in A2 presentation boards. Louis and Vander presented to Ms Reene and Mr Azim.

Reflection :-

This project has taught me to understand the interrelation between natural elements and man-made elements by analysing the function of the natural elements and built environment by looking at the natural elements, topography and landscape. It has helped me initiate ideas that relate to natural elements through observation, data collection, evaluation and deliver them in an infographic manner.
