PROJECT 2(A) - STREET INTERVENTION
Towards the end of May, we received two projects at the same time - street intervention (group) & infographic pamphlet (individual). The group project involved another site visit to our assigned areas. My group, which consisted of Syahadah, Kath, Annabelle, Areesa and Odini were assigned to Pasar Seni, specifically Jalan Hang Lekir. We were to capture the tangible and intangible components through photographs, video recordings and so on as part of our macro and micro study. We also had to carry on a SWOT study. In the end, we had to come up with an idea proposal to improve the street and display that through a 2D model.

During the weekend, we took the LRT to our site to get the full raw experience. When we reached there, we observed, analysed and took pictures of the site.

Four weeks later, after multiple visits to the site, we completed 6 A1 boards and presented. External panels were invited to watch and comment on our presentation.

Reflection :-

This project has allowed me to be able to identify and describe the elements in a built environment. It has taught me to analyse their individual functions, and initiate ideas on built environment through observation, data collection, evaluation and deliver them in an infographic manner. I have successfully extended my knowledge on the built environment.
